Beth Hunt Joins WGH & Associates

William G. Hunt & Associates, LLC is proud to announce the addition of Beth Hunt to our firm. Beth will be our Chief Marketing Officer. Utilizing her extensive marketing experience at both corporate and non-profit institutions, she will assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies on behalf of our clients to generate revenue.

Beth most recently served as Director of Client Services at TIG Global | MICROS eCommerce Services where she managed a team of 15 employees and a multi-million online marketing account for Hyatt hotels, the company's largest client relationship. She oversaw online marketing strategy and communications for 130 hotels, with the end goals of garnering additional online visibility and generating bookings. Her online marketing expertise encompasses search engine optimization, paid search, digital media, online reputation management, email marketing, social media, and website design.

Prior to joining TIG Global, Beth was the Membership Services Officer at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, DC's oldest private art gallery. At the Corcoran she was a key stakeholder in the creation and execution of an overall communications strategy for the advancement of the institution. Beth previously worked as Senior Account Management Analyst at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC. Before moving to DC she spent a year teaching English at the Academy of Versailles in Versailles, France.

Beth is also the founder of Beth Hunt Calligraphy and Design.

Beth received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi, where she graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the prestigious Taylor Medal for academic excellence. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Gamma Beta Phi, Golden Key Honor Societies; Gamma Beta Sigma National Business Honor Society; and Pi Delta Phi National French Honor Society. She is an alumna of Chi Omega sorority.

Beth lives in Oxford, Mississippi with her husband, Will, and son, William.

 
WGH & Associates Attends MTA Conference on Technology Innovation

The Mississippi Technology Alliance Conference on Technology Innovation was held at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, MS. The event attracted business and community leaders throughout the State of Mississippi.

The conference started off with a recap of the State elections tha occured the day before by Andy Taggart and Jere Nash followed by the following Breakout Sessions and Innovation Stations.

During lunch, we heard a powerful speech from Mississippi's own Jim Barskdale, the former COO of FedEx, CEO of Netscape among other successful business ventures. His committment to education is outstanding, and it was a pleasure learning from his experience.
